About Us

Ovatient is a virtual-first healthcare company that puts a person – not just a patient – at the center of how they receive care and improve their health. We partner with health systems to offer comprehensive and easy–to–access virtual care services — including primary care, urgent care, and soon mental health. Our solution is built on Epic and MyChart, providing a more connected, meaningful, and personalized patient experience that empowers care teams with nearly real-time data. With Ovatient, patients build long-lasting relationships with trusted healthcare providers and access high-quality care quickly, affordably and conveniently, no matter where they are.

Our History

Ovatient was formed through a partnership between the MetroHealth System and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) in October 2022. It is led by CEO Michael Dalton and a team of dedicated virtual care professionals and business leaders.
