I believe in a balanced approach to patient care by ensuring access and meeting patients where they are. This forms a relationship that serves as the foundation for shared decision-making, education, and crafting appropriate treatment plans. Successful healthcare hinges on the trust between provider and patient, relying on vulnerability and authenticity to achieve optimal health goals.

Education & Training

• Undergraduate: Baylor University, MSN, FNP-C, graduated in 2013.
• Graduate: Northwestern State University in Louisiana, DNP with a focus on Organizational Systems Leadership, graduated in 2024.
• Career: Nurse Practitioner in primary care, dedicated to serving vulnerable and rural populations.

Fun Fact

I take great pride in being a US Navy veteran! However, many might not know that my active duty journey wasn’t in a medical role; I served as an Aerographer’s Mate in Weather and Oceanography. My adventures took me to NAS JRB Ft Worth, TX, which is a wonderful joint reserve base where we supported flight squadrons from multiple branches. I always joke that, yes, there really is a Navy base in the heart of Texas, and we were right by the water at Lake Worth!
