Approach to Care

I approach patient care as a partnership built on trust, empathy, and clinical expertise. Drawing from my virtual care experience in Maine healthcare systems and the VA, I’ve developed an approach that creates genuine human connection using the digital interface. Patients can expect me to listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, and involve them in decisions about their health.

My background in both Family and Preventive Medicine informs my whole-person approach, addressing immediate concerns while supporting long-term wellbeing. Through integrative practices and team-based care models I’ve developed throughout my career, I work to understand not just symptoms but the whole person.

Building trust virtually means being fully present, maintaining eye contact, explaining my thought process clearly, and following through consistently—skills I’ve refined through both clinical practice and media communication. I focus on creating a space where patients feel comfortable sharing, knowing they’ll receive compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers them in their health journey.
