Ovatient is a virtual-first healthcare company that puts a person – not just a patient – at the center of how they receive care and improve their health. Ovatient’s team of dedicated virtual providers and care team members work closely with our health system partners to provide patients with connected, coordinated and convenient virtual care.  

The name Ovatient is a testament to our commitment—it’s a fusion of ‘Ovation-worthy’ and ‘Patient-centered care‘, symbolizing the celebration of patient-centered excellence we strive for in everything we do.  

What We Offer 

Ovatient offers comprehensive virtual primary and urgent care that is covered by your insurance or you can pay no more than $65. Through Ovatient, you can get care wherever you are in Ohio, including at home, at work or on the go. When you need to be seen in person, Ovatient will help connect you to an appointment.   

With Ovatient, your virtual care journey is connected to our health system partners. That includes your MyChart, medical record and notes from providers. You can go from virtual to in-person appointments with confidence that your care will be tailored to your needs.   

Our History 

Ovatient was formed through a partnership between the MetroHealth System and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) in October 2022. It is led by CEO Michael Dalton and a team of dedicated virtual care professionals and business leaders.
